This diecast model Suzuki XR14 (Barry Sheene 1975 Assen GP) is Blue and White and features working stand, steering, wheels.
The 1975 Suzuki XR 14 has a so called square four engine, where the four cylinders are arranged in a quadratic manner, while at the same time it was ventilated with the help of four carburettors and rotary slides. This resulted in 101 horse power at 11,200 rpm and a maximum speed of 284 km/h. The only 135 kilogram heavy bike possessed brake discs in the rear and front. The 497 ccm double stroke engine needs an oil-gasoline ratio of 1:30 and has a six speed manual together with a dry clutch and a 150 wheel in the rear. Above 8,000 rpm up to it's maximum power unfolding at 11,200 rpm the rotary slide engine displays a firework while below the 8,000 rpm mark the bike is quite nippy. The Suzuki driven by Barry Sheene has the gear shift on the right hand side, just like all his other bikes. On this Suzuki Sheene won the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix at Assen.
1:12 scale (approx. 17cm / 6.7in long) - made by Minichamps.
